Instructional Focus

At Louis Pasteur Middle School 67q, we aim to create and maintain a supportive learning environment for all students. 
Theory of Action:
  • Allow for student-led discussions during class lessons which include the utilization of peer feedback, student-to-student questioning, and responses to critical thinking questions posed by the teachers. 
  • Utilize more supports to address the social and emotional needs of our students. 
  • Craft lessons which include critical thinking questions that push students' thinking and challenge them so that a deeper understanding of concepts taught is achieved. 
  • Offer opportunities outside of classroom instruction time during which students' interests and talents can be utilized.
