Dear MS 67Q Families,
We hope you are well. Due to expected severe weather conditions, New York City Public Schools will pivot to remote learning on Tuesday, February 13. As a result:
- While buildings are closed, school will be in session remotely for all students. Students are expected to log on to the Google Classroom pages for each subject and participate in their classes synchronously from home.
- Students should make sure to join the homeroom Google Classroom pages of their homeroom teachers during homeroom time from 8:00am-8:15am. Students should type their names into the stream for their homeroom class so that attendance can be taken by their homeroom teachers using the DOE Attendance app.
- Based on our records, every student and staff member should have a working device. If your child doesn't have either a school, DOE, and/or personal device, please contact our main office at (718)423-8138 as soon as possible today. Your child will be given a device to use remotely tomorrow.
- All afterschool activities for Tuesday, February 13th will be canceled.
If needed, we will continue to provide updates and information via DOE Messaging. Tonight's SLT (3:30pm) and PTA (7:00pm) will take place as scheduled. We hope to see you there!
