8th Grade
For 8th grade social studies, you will be learning about the second portion of U.S. history from the mid 1800’s to present day using a variety of primary/secondary sources and video content. Students will be able to compile their document analysis to formulate DBQ essays throughout the year.
The curriculum is broken up into the following main units:

- Immigration and Urbanization
- American Imperialism (of Latin America)
- World War I
- Roaring 20’s
- Great Depression
- World War II
- Cold War
- Modern America
