7th Grade
For 7th grade social studies, you will be learning about the first half of US History analyzing the origins of the American nation beginning with the Age of Exploration and the Founding Era and ending with the Civil War and Reconstruction. In this course, students will study our nation’s history, culture, government and geography. A wide selection of biographies, American literature, art, music, historical fiction, and poetry provide an in-depth understanding of the primary text.
The curriculum is broken up into the following main units:
